Living up to his name, Jobs handles various tasks on the Gekko and oversees most of the hardware on board. Primarily, he serves as the Gekko's engineer and is frequently found in the core systems room whenever the ship needs special attention during powered flights or battles. He always dresses impeccably in a shirt, vest, and tie. Despite his calm and expert demeanor, he sometimes lets his guard down when something particularly excites him. Similar to Gonzy, he was initially a stowaway but was allowed to stay due to his exceptional skills. Jobs has a fondness for "Dr. Bear," as shown in episode 31, and is an avid admirer of Dr. Bear's research and engineering theories. He is modeled after Steve Jobs, one of the co-founders of Apple, hence his name.
