Ro Jisei made his first appearance in Battle 266. He is categorized as Sei and Satsujin Ken, specializing in Chinese Kenpo martial arts. Ro was an old friend of Ma Sougetsu and, according to Ma Kensei, played a crucial role in guiding him towards the path of Satsujin Ken.
Ro was a member of Yami and served as Chou Enshin's master. During Ma Sougetsu's absence, he became part of the One Shadow Nine Fists. Ro initially appeared with most of his features concealed during a meeting of the One Shadow Nine Fists following Kanou Shou's death. At this meeting, he expressed his belief that Shou was unworthy of inheriting his techniques without specifying his reasons.
After this initial appearance, Ro did not reappear until his disciple faced Tanimoto Natsu in a match. Both Ro and Sougetsu watched the fight unfold until Tanimoto emerged victorious, earning the Moon symbol of Yomi.
The ultimate fate of Ro and Chou after they were replaced remains unknown. However, it is suggested that Ro might be either training his current disciple or searching for a new one after his previous disciple was disposed of.
