Jean Jacquemonde is a French Spriggan operator based in ARCAM's French division. His werewolf appearance results from ancient biotechnology that grants him the ability to shapeshift. During his tenure with the Spriggans, Jean actively supports Yu Ominae in combating ARCAM Corporation's adversaries, ranging from Turkey to the forests of Japan, facing Machiner's Platoon soldiers and brainwashed COSMOS child soldiers. In his debut in Turkey, Jean undergoes his first werewolf transformation after being shot by Little Boy. In this form, he ultimately kills his attacker and overcomes platoons of Machiner's Platoon soldiers sent to stop him. Deployed on a mission to Romania, Jean confronts his father, who reveals his heritage. In Ecuador, Jean is critically injured by Oboro and left for dead. Fortunately, Percup Ramdi performs surgery that not only heals Jean but also accelerates his self-healing abilities. During a mission to prevent COSMOS from extracting Rie Yamabishi to the US, Jean storms a US Army base in Japan alongside Yu and Oboro. However, they fail to stop COSMOS forces from escaping. Reluctantly, Jean teams up with Iwao Akatsuki and Bo Brantz, two of ARCAM's most formidable foes, to sabotage a Trident operation. This occurs when Larry Markson tries to harness the power of the South Pole Shrine to control the world. Following Bo's death, the trio battles Larry's forces before eliminating the Fire Snake with assistance from Yoshino Somei, Rie Yamabishi, and other ARCAM personnel who were coerced into aiding Trident in accessing the fiery artifact.
