An inventor of the Rosenkreuz Orden, Isaak is also known as Panzer Magier. He is responsible for creating Cain's current body, which was severely damaged by Seth and Abel 900 years ago. Despite his numerous talents, Isaak remains somewhat enigmatic, having used various aliases in the past. He studied at London University under the name Isaac Butler and was involved in an incident that resulted in William's fiancée's death and their subsequent expulsion. Since meeting Cain, Isaak has been overseeing Cain's regeneration and leading the Orden with him, though his true motivations remain unclear. He enjoys smoking cigarillos and quoting literary works. Isaak typically avoids public appearances, preferring to let others execute his plans. However, when he does take to the front lines, he demonstrates exceptional combat skills and is not easily defeated.
Isaak possesses a wide array of talents and is proficient in utilizing Lost Technologies. His primary weapon is called the Arrow of Belial, a colossal sphere of light that unleashes multiple energy bolts at his enemies. He can also generate an almost impenetrable electromagnetic shield named the Shield of Asmoday around himself, capable of blocking nearly any attack. Additionally, Isaak has created artificial demons that he can summon during battles. These include "Schatten Kobolds," small devil-like creatures that hide within shadows, and monstrous worm-like beings known as gnomes, which can tunnel through the ground at incredible speeds; the latter only appear in the novels. His hair, made of thin mono-carbon fibers, is strong enough to cut through the hardest diamond, making it another formidable weapon.
The novels indicate that Dietrich von Lohengrin is Isaak’s protégé, likely gaining the knowledge to create Death Hunters under Isaak's guidance. Isaak is last seen piloting the Orden’s airship while leading an assault on the city of Londinium in Albion. Through the joint efforts of the Church and the Kingdom of Albion, the ship was destroyed, presumably killing him in the explosion.
