Shirahama Honoka is Kenichi's younger sister, deeply caring for him and often competing with Miu for his attention. During her second visit to the Ryozanpaku dojo, she impresses Apachai and Shigure by showing them how to make tea properly. This leads to Honoka becoming good friends with these masters, prompting her to visit the dojo regularly to play with them.
Honoka shares a similar hairstyle with her brother Kenichi, sporting short brown hair but without any fringe at the front. She usually wears striped shirts, her school uniform, or dresses. Miu finds her very cute for her age, although in reality, Honoka appears much younger than she actually is.
She is friendly and kind to others, cherishing her big brother and enjoying watching his training sessions while worrying about the difficulties he faces. Honoka likes spending time with Tanimoto Natsu, viewing him as another older brother figure (since Tanimoto sees her as a reminder of his deceased little sister).
Honoka has a playful side, frequently following her brother to his training dojo and trying to convince him to come home when she believes he’s enduring harsh training. She even sneaks into his room and tends to annoy him because she enjoys being around him. She feels a bit jealous of Miu, whom she calls "Titsy" due to her figure, mistakenly believing that Miu is the main reason Kenichi stays at the dojo. However, Kenichi's true motivation is to become stronger to protect those he loves.
When upset, Honoka can lose her temper and cry, such as when Kenichi refuses to return home. She admires her father's dramatic gestures, often thinking they are the right thing to do, especially concerning Kenichi.
Honoka enjoys spending time with Apachai and Shigure, playing board games with them and teaching them small things like making tea. Despite not having formal martial arts training, she knows some moves from observing her mother's teachings.
