Hikojirou owns Kaburagi Antiques, where Hisako is employed. It's uncertain how much he knows about Yato's true nature and his connection with Hisako, but he sometimes drops hints that suggest he is aware of more than what is apparent. He permits Yato to stay at the shop during the day and keep Hisako company. There are several hints that indicate Hikojirou has many connections.
His grandfather used to run the store but preferred traveling the world. He left the shop under the care of his grandson, occasionally sending items for him to sell.
