The Guardian Deity is one of the main characters in Eiichiro Oda's one-shot story, Ikki Yako. When he was bored, he would frighten villagers by wearing a mask, but he wasn't the real threat they feared. The Guardian had a friendship with Koshin, who was Guko's master. Later on, he entrusted Guko with his sword to defeat Hitokui.
