Gino Weinberg is the Knight of Three, a seventeen-year-old ace pilot of noble descent. Gino hails from an extremely wealthy background, which means he doesn't fully grasp how the real world operates. However, his upbeat and friendly nature win him many friends. He immediately takes a liking to Suzaku when Suzaku joins the Knights of Rounds. Gino pilots the transformable Knightmare Frame Tristan. Gino is impressed when Kallen defeats both him and Anya in her upgraded Guren Flight-Enabled Version, noting that her skill rivals that of a member of the Knights of Rounds. He expresses disappointment at not getting a rematch when she is captured by Li Xingke. To experience life as a regular person, he enrolls in Ashford Academy along with Anya. During Kallen's imprisonment in Tokyo, Gino visits her and asks if she plans to return to Britannia under the name Stadtfeld. Their conversation is interrupted by an attack on the settlement, but he gets his answer when she is freed and rejoins the battle. She confirms to him that she has chosen the name Kōzuki. When asked whether meeting on the battlefield should make them feel happy or sad, he claims they should enjoy it. He then asks Suzaku to let him handle Kallen, but Suzaku insists on staying to fight her.
