Gime is a hunter/warrior – a bounty hunter who prowls the streets of Scrap Iron City, chasing bounties set by 'The Factory', a mysterious organization that recycles scrap from Zalum and ships finished goods there. Enhanced with cybernetics, he is an expert swordsman equipped with two swords that can be joined at the pommels to form one weapon.
He was the hunter responsible for killing Yugo's brother after his sister-in-law reported him for building a forbidden aircraft to reach Zalum. Gime was present at Bar Kansas, a gathering spot for bounty hunters, when Gally, now a hunter herself, encountered the fugitive and former cyborg gladiator Grewcica, who had been upgraded by Chiren. Gime also witnessed the battle between Gally and Grewcica and Gally's eventual victory.
Since then, Gally consistently outperformed Gime in securing bounties, aiming to use the money offered by The Factory to travel to Zalum with Yugo. However, everything changed on a stormy night when a bounty was placed on Yugo's head after he was caught stealing spinal cords. Knowing of Gally's affection for Yugo, Gime followed her, just as Chiren did, hoping she would lead them to Yugo. He found Yugo but allowed him to retrieve his credit chips before striking, effectively killing him.
Upon hearing Yugo scream, Gally rushed outside only to find Gime standing over his body. Gime expressed his disdain for how a hunter let personal feelings cloud their judgment and announced he would take Yugo's head, just as he had done years ago with Yugo's brother. The two hunters fought, but despite her knowledge of Panzer Kursk, Gally was at a disadvantage against the more experienced Gime. In a risky move, as Gime was about to deliver a fatal blow, Gally grabbed his sword, charging both it and his body simultaneously. Though the power wasn't enough to kill Gime, it charged his body sufficiently to attract a lightning bolt from the stormy sky, reducing him to debris.
Nearby, Chiren used her skills as a cyberneticist to save Yugo's head using Gally's life support systems. This enabled her to bring Yugo back to Daisuke Ito, who provided the boy with a cybernetic body.
