An Okinawan-American US Army veteran who fought in the Vietnam War, George was among the soldiers present when Saya lost her mind during the conflict, indiscriminately killing both comrades and enemies. One of the few survivors, he was entrusted by the first David to watch over Saya's dormant body after she entered another hibernation phase. Having tragically lost his wife and biological children in an accident years prior, he found renewed purpose in life through the sound of Saya's heartbeat emanating from her cocoon. When she awoke and he realized she no longer posed a threat, he adopted her as his daughter. By then, he had also adopted two sons, Kai and Riku, and ran a restaurant-bar named Oboro in Okinawa.
While safeguarding Saya, he was assaulted by a chiropteran. During his recovery at a hospital, he was abducted and taken to a US military base where he was injected with Delta 67. After escaping, he sustained further injuries from another chiropteran attack while defending Saya. The combination of Delta 67 and the chiropteran wounds began transforming him into a chiropteran, prompting him to ask Saya to pour her blood into his wounds to end his suffering. Saya hesitated greatly because he was the only father figure she had ever known. As they conversed, he held her hands, allowing her blood to slowly trickle down his arms and drip into his wounds, ultimately leading to his demise.
