ayase fuuka

Fuuka, the middle sister of the Ayase family, is a 16-year-old second-year student at a local high school. She is the most responsible among her sisters. During Yotsuba's first visit to her school, one student refers to her as "vice-president." Fuuka often finds herself assisting the Koiwai family, even though she doesn't plan to and gets more flustered by their eccentricities than anyone else.

The other characters frequently tease Fuuka, especially about her fashion sense and sense of humor. She enjoys making bad puns, which annoys Asagi, and she likes wearing shirts with odd or interesting graphics. For instance, she has a shirt featuring Chiyo's "father" from Azumanga Daioh, who also appears as a plush toy in her room.
