En Zu refers to himself as the storm genie and the king of darkness. His authentic form is that of an indu gud, a massive eagle with the head of a lion. In his initial meeting with Pam, he had inexplicably transformed into a large, deformed creature that Linfa was hunting and battling. Pam's heirloom necklace incapacitated En Zu and significantly reduced his size, allowing Pam to claim him as her familiar. En Zu does not enjoy this relationship; he sees Pam as weak and foolish, although he still protects her as a familiar should. Unfortunately, Pam has come to believe that En Zu, whom she calls "Zu-kun," is a pervert. In his combat form, which resembles a young male devil, En Zu has inadvertently shocked Pam's sensibilities. Moreover, En Zu appears to have lost much of his memory from before he was claimed by Pam, likely due to psychological trauma he endured prior to meeting her. Recent discoveries suggest that En Zu is a usurper who was imprisoned for a long time before Remi freed him, leading to his disastrous rampage.
