emperor

The Emperor: He first appears disguised as the deceased Nakbin, shocking Soah, who believed Nakbin had returned. In a later chapter, he shows interest in Soah, even going so far as to snatch her from Hoo-ye's arms. Hoo-ye seems bound by a contract to hand Soah over to the Emperor, but Habaek, as Soah's husband, stops him from taking her. The Emperor is responsible for the curse on Habaek, which turns him into a child during the day. Eventually, it is revealed that he is the father of Hoo-ye and Nakbin. He schemes to obtain Habaek to win a war against Shi Nong, a god who favors humans, while the Emperor despises them.
