Dohoon is Ewon's classmate and best friend since high school. He clearly has a crush on Ewon and frequently tries to persuade Ewon to become his "catcher" (as Ewon had only been a "pitcher" until he got together with Mookyul). Upon first meeting Mookyul, Dohoon is amazed by how attractive Mookyul is and feels jealous that Ewon lost his "chastity" to Mookyul. He openly admits to Mookyul that he once had a crush on Ewon, which causes Mookyul to get jealous and start a fuss. When Dohoon discovers that Mookyul is a Mafia boss, he assumes Ewon is working for him to repay a private loan and offers to pay off the loan for Ewon. Ewon is deeply touched by how much Dohoon cares but explains that he owes Mookyul something other than money. As Ewon's best friend, Dohoon genuinely cares about Ewon. He acts as Ewon's wingman, having saved Ewon from being molested by a stranger (by claiming Ewon was with him) and helped him get home when he was drunk. Dohoon isn't afraid to express his feelings, even if it sometimes makes him seem like a jerk. Ultimately, he is concerned about Ewon's well-being and wants to protect his best friend.
