Initially, Spyke has Cyandog, a Medarot who consistently loses battles because the medal he uses—a Monkey medal designed for hand-to-hand combat—is incompatible with his Canine body, which is built for shooting. Later, Spyke upgrades Cyandog to a more advanced Krosserdog body but retains the same Monkey medal. This change occurs after Cyandog runs away from Spyke, feeling frustrated and useless due to his constant defeats. Cyandog joins the Rockers and engages in a robattle with Metabee. Metabee remarks that this battle feels different from previous encounters with Cyandog. Despite gaining the upper hand, Metabee damages each of Cyandog's parts one by one. Yet, Cyandog persists and continues to attack Metabee. He misses, but Metabee retaliates by blasting Cyandog in the head with his laser cannon. Believing the battle to be over as Cyandog's head part is now 100% damaged, Metabee is astonished when Cyandog gets back up (this being the only instance where a Medarot has survived a function cease). Metabee, with no other option, decides to destroy Cyandog. However, before he can do so, Spyke intervenes. After a brief conversation with his old Medarot, Cyandog finally collapses. His body is never used again, likely due to the extensive damage it sustained from Metabee's attacks.
