Christopher Eclair made his debut in Battle 146. He is categorized as Sei and Satsujin Ken, specializing in the martial art of Savate. A member of Yami's Assassination Division, he exhibits a masterful command over Savate. His appearance is notably androgynous, often leading to confusion about his gender. With grey hair, he adorns himself in a dark red coat paired with white gloves, blue trousers, and dark boots.
Eclair possesses a vain and straightforward personality. Upon arriving in Japan, his immediate reaction was one of disdain towards its perceived dirtiness. Notably lacking in moral scruples, he shows no hesitation in using human shields, particularly involving the elderly and children, a trait that deeply disgusted Shio Sakaki when they collaborated for the United States.
His sadistic tendencies are evident; he revels in killing, finding it entertaining. Kidnapping children like Kenichi or eliminating anyone obstructing his path holds no qualms for him. Additionally, Christopher employs female assistants during missions, insisting they wear the same perfume as he does.
Assigned to assassinate Gauche Wynne, Christopher embarked on his mission. Gauche had enlisted Sakaki as his bodyguard and brought along Kenichi to educate him about Yami. Initially, Eclair targeted Gauche’s limo but found it empty. Discovering Sakaki’s strategy of taking Gauche by train, Christopher managed to locate and board it.
The confrontation between Sakaki and Christopher commenced on the train. However, Sakaki faced challenges due to Eclair’s tactic of using children as shields. After threatening Kenichi, an enraged Sakaki punched Christopher off the train, though Christopher retaliated by capturing Kenichi as leverage.
Christopher orchestrated a meeting at twin towers, demanding Sakaki deliver Gauche to the opposite tower while holding Kenichi hostage. Disguised as Gauche, Miu was delivered instead, and Sakaki leaped across towers to confront Eclair. Gauche's intervention led to Eclair throwing Sakaki through a window.
In the ensuing battle against both Kenichi and Miu, Christopher nearly triumphed until Sakaki intervened, misinterpreting the scene as Christopher assaulting Miu. Brutally beaten, Christopher was defeated and sent to a police hospital, from which he escaped and fled Japan.
