shinooka chiyo

She is the manager of the Nishiura baseball team. Diligent and sincere, she takes immense pride in the baseball team and strives to assist them in every possible way, from preparing rice balls to writing comprehensive reports on rival teams. As the manager, she possesses extensive knowledge about her own team, including all their full names and birthdays. She declared (in chapter 17) that she has no romantic interest in anyone on the team. However, it is later revealed (in chapter 59) that she harbors feelings for Abe but chooses not to act on them to prevent any awkwardness within the team. She attended the same middle school as Abe and Sakaeguchi, where she played softball as a shortstop. Chiyo also enjoys trying on uniforms from other schools and frequently swaps outfits with her friends to take pictures.
