The former ace of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Club before Miu joined, Chihiro harbors intense jealousy towards the younger girl. It was her report to Yasunaga (after eavesdropping on a conversation) that led to the teachers' home visit to Ryōzanpaku. During the YOMI arc, she tries to ally with Rachel Stanley to embarrass Miu, who consistently rejects her suggestions and then pins her in a wrestling hold. Her envy has significantly lessened since last year and now manifests much more rarely. However, it can be observed that this change might stem from her growing accustomed to Miu's mannerisms as well as her own substantial improvement in gymnastics, inspired by watching Miu.
