He is exceptionally large with two curved horns called Long Horns on both sides of his head. His fighting style primarily leverages his immense strength and power, but he can also lower his power in tight situations to become faster. Specializing in brutal combat, he has spikes on each knee. Despite this, he is quite clever and often lures opponents into wasting stamina. Buffaloman is depicted as a formidable opponent, far more powerful than any other Choujin seen before him. The concept of Choujin Kyoudo was introduced specifically to highlight this. Buffaloman's Choujin Kyoudo is 10,000,000 Power, ten times that of Warsman, Kinnikuman's previous greatest opponent. While many Choujin surpassing 10,000,000 Power appear by the end of the series, Buffaloman still boasts of his power, which remains his key advantage. Although an Akuma Choujin, Buffaloman fights honorably and respects his opponents. During his battle with Kinnikuman, his good heart is awakened, leading to his revival as a Seigi Choujin after his first death. The buffalo in his name likely refers to the water buffalo, as his Long Horns resemble theirs. His Spanish origin and habit of charging forward with his Long Horns suggest inspiration from bullfighting. Yudetamago have stated that Buffaloman is modeled after professional wrestler Bruiser Brody. In tribute to Brody's tag team collaboration with Jimmy Snuka, Buffaloman pairs with smaller characters like Springman and Mongolman in tag matches.
