Birdy, an Intergalactic Officer with a human appearance but alien origins, finds herself on Earth in pursuit of an interplanetary criminal. During the chase, she accidentally causes the death of a young boy, Tsutomu, who was unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time. As reparation for her actions, Birdy is compelled to share her body with the boy, thus preserving his life. Now, she must navigate her duties as an officer while also coexisting with Tsutomu and his family.

Birdy is revealed to be a successful creation of Ikushiora.
