A male B'T created by the Machine Empire in the likeness of the mythical Chinese creature, the Kirin. He possesses a proud and tough-guy personality, programmed to pledge loyalty to his original owner, Karen, the General of the West Wing of the Machine Empire. While escorting Karen into exile, his systems failed midway, and he was returned to the Empire for disposal. Five years later, he was reactivated upon sensing Karen's blood reintroduced into his system, only to be bewildered to find that the one who provided the blood was a boy named Teppei.
According to legend, when a Kirin descends from Heaven, it brings salvation to the land, freeing it from evil.
