Ayu is a character from the Heroes of the Sea Lifesavers series. She is best friends with Natsumi, along with Hijiri. Ayu is also a friend of Hayate and Ayumu, who attends Shiomi.
She made an appearance in Hayate no Gotoku! Chapter 1 and Episode 37 during a flashback scene where Ayumu asked Hayate if he could take a photo sticker with her. However, she did not have any significant role in the main storyline.
