Atsushi Ikeda is an independent college student leading a typical life. He is tall, has black hair, and broad shoulders. Living in an apartment, he holds a job and can cook for himself. One day, Atsushi discovers Riya injured at his doorstep and decides to take him inside to treat his wounds. As their story unfolds, Atsushi finds it difficult to leave Riya alone, especially after learning about Riya's mental condition. He becomes a safe haven for Riya, who fears what might happen if left alone. In Volume 2 of the manga, Atsushi starts to recognize his feelings for Riya. After attending a concert by Saki, Riya's cousin, Atsushi finds Riya and Kousaka in the washroom. Riya had been struck by Kousaka due to something he said. Riya runs outside with Atsushi following. Feeling frustrated and angry at his other self (White), Riya is upset that everyone talks about the "other" Riya and can't believe White Riya slept with Kousaka-sempai. Suddenly, Riya asks Atsushi to sleep with him. Unsure of the situation, Riya assumes Atsushi doesn't want to and bursts into anger and disappointment. However, Atsushi responds, "All right. I'll do as you wish." Atsushi had never considered being intimate with Riya because he only thought of him as a little brother. Seeing Riya in this state, Atsushi finally realizes his true feelings. He confesses to Riya, explaining how he feels. But knowing that Riya does not love him back, Atsushi is reluctant to act carelessly with someone he loves. (Source: Mangafox)
