The daughter of a Japanese confectionery store owner and a member of the diving team in Eisen's swimming club, Ami possesses the unique ability to recognize other people's strengths. She is kind to everyone except Keisuke. Interestingly, she sends New Year's cards to Keisuke with the word "murderer" inscribed on them. Unlike many heroines in Adachi's other series who might have extraordinary traits, Ami is relatively normal and achieves average grades. She was a gymnast during her junior high school years but transitioned to diving when she entered high school.
