Akari is the main female character in this slice-of-life narrative. She is very reserved, gentle, and kind-hearted. She is the type of girl who expresses her affection through her actions. One of her most treasured memories is from a rainy day in elementary school, when she had dropped all her books into a puddle. She cried because her books were damaged, but Hiroyuki came along, picked up her things, and offered her his own books instead. Akari's hobbies include cooking and collecting teddy bears – her room is filled with them.
