He is also the biggest support for Gii and Takumi's relationship, even though sometimes he acts as if he is very annoyed by Gii's behavior. Unlike Gii, Akaike is straight, and Takumi always thinks that Akaike has a crush on his neighbor girl (also his childhood friend).
