She's the Fighter Unit of Breathless, appearing to be the quieter one of the duo. Although she lacks the speed and strength necessary to defeat Soubi, her partnership with her Sacrifice allows her to summon powerful spells that can temporarily restrict Ritsuka.

Ai and Midori are in the same grade as Ritsuka and were sent to retrieve him for their boss, Septimal Moon, but they fail in their mission. The two are very close and dislike being apart. Their names are inscribed on the palms of one of their hands.
