Agaard Jum Sai is the Muay Thai Master within Yami's One Shadow Nine Fists, and he mentors Tirawit Koukin. He stands tall with dark skin and an impressively muscular build, adorned with tribal tattoos on his face much like those of his student. His hair is a deep red hue, and he perpetually wears a smile akin to his fellow fighter Diego Carlo. His eyes are peculiar, featuring a plus sign in their center. Physically, he resembles Apachai.
Agaard possesses a love for battle and willingly risks his life to defeat opponents, but only if they are strong enough to warrant his attention. Unlike many others in his circle, he has a more relaxed demeanor. Agaard wields a terrifying ability—a powerful charismatic aura that subconsciously influences and commands those around him effortlessly. This skill has shown positive results, such as his past bond with Apachai, who followed the then junior champion's lead. Even this influence has had mutual effects, leading Agaard to cry at the thought of eventually having to kill each other due to their shared path.
Agaard genuinely cares for Apachai, expressing gratitude towards Kenichi for being Apachai's disciple, thus propelling both master and student further into the martial arts world. After experiencing Apachai's attacks, Agaard recognizes Katsujin Ken as equal to Satsujin Ken and congratulates Apachai on perfecting his Muay Thai by holding back.
His disciple, Koukin, appears terrified of him, hinting at a darker side to Agaard. The exact reason for Koukin's fear remains unknown but seems linked to Agaard's immense power and Ki release. Despite this, Agaard shows honor, admitting defeat to Apachai and allowing him to decide his fate afterward.
Since meeting Kenichi, Agaard has developed a liking for him, praising Kenichi's unique qualities to Apachai. His respect for Kenichi grew to the point of advising him on fighting the Bantou Master to save his life. Similarly, despite Koukin's loss to Kenichi, Agaard did not scold him and instead praised their fight.
As a teenager, Agaard witnessed Apachai's exceptional Muay Thai skills in an underground ring in Thailand. He bought Apachai from a crime boss struggling to control him, winning Apachai's trust by promising him abundant food.
Years later, Agaard and Apachai aimed to reach the pinnacle of Muay Thai, training together after their master's death. In a match final, Agaard deliberately lost to keep Apachai at their gym. Later, Agaard left his gym, joined Yami, and began attacking various Muay Thai gyms, eventually confronting Apachai. Their battle ended casually because Apachai stopped training to maintain his strength. Agaard later attacked the headquarters of Underground Muay Thai, killing several members and top Muay Boran masters.
