Renton's father was a military researcher, hailed as a hero within military circles. He was the original creator of the Ageha Plan but later advocated for its abandonment due to its extreme destructive potential. His team was involved in experiments concerning the Seven Swell phenomenon. During an experiment with the Amita Drive, Adroc vanished. To prevent the experiment from unleashing catastrophic destruction, he removed the Compac/Amita Drive from Nirvash, halting the transdimensional rift that would have destroyed the planet. However, this action caused him to be pulled into the rift himself; only the Compac/Amita Drive remained, with no trace of him or his uniform left behind. He was declared dead, and a large monument was built in his honor in Bellforest, though it is now largely ignored by the public. Later, it was revealed that Adroc's state of being had been transferred to the Scub Coral along with others suffering from Despair Sickness, causing them to appear catatonic in normal reality. These individuals existed in a non-temporal state by their own will, aiming to communicate with and understand the true nature of the Scub Coral. When Renton finally met his father again, there was no hatred; Renton held his hand, glad to see him without any lingering animosity. Adroc has no voice actor throughout the series. The only scenes in which he appears are either narrated flashbacks or roles where he does not speak.
