That was a great introduction to the character of Rico, but I get the feeling that she will be the first girl to die. I feel really bad for that boy, but the organization is ruthless and he was just collateral damage.
I've seen the anime, and Rico is my favorite character. As such, I really enjoyed this chapter. Poor kid, though. It was almost funny how Rico didn't even mind doing it. She just remembered her handler's instructions and took him out.
