A stunning manga overall. Sad to never see Otsu and Musashi drawn together. Also a shame Matahachi never got to deliver the certificate to Kojiro. But other than that I'm pretty satisfied with the series never continuing from here. Honestly I didn't particularly want to see Kojiro and Musashi ever fight each other seriously. The chapters around that Snowman were some of the most wholesome I've ever read.

At least the novel exists and I can take a look at some of the other ways Inoue talked about concluding this series.

Much like his other series the characters were exceptional, the art was breathtaking and the story unfurled perfectly. Reading 37 volumes of manga in a day shouldn't be as easy as this was. Inoue is truly a gifted artist.

This really makes me look forward to reading Real one day whether he completes it or not.

Kojiro is great and his final chapter before the farm arc with him fighting while keeping a beach ball in the air was definitely the best representation of the kind of man he is.

There was so much to love in this story even down to the comedy elements most aspects were superb.

Funny to see Kojiro breaking convention and acting like a monkey. Hyped to see Musashi arrive and soon Kojiro may be reunited with his friend.

Finally reread Vagabond and caught up with the newest chapters, I've missed this series! As Real is one of my other favourite series and I'm itching for more, I can do with waiting. How often do you have a mangaka working on two brilliant, long spanning works simultaneously? Both stories feel like they have years left in them. His work has always been in a league of its own.

Let's hope for the best oh god this can't just end! I will wait though, this is so incomplete without anything happened between Musashi and Kojiro. I will re read again and again. Literally the most beautiful manga.

What a read. I looked at Vagabond being listed in many readers' favorites so I decided to give it a shot. I have no regrets. Seriously what a rollercoaster of growth from Takezo leading into Musashi and I will take the very many realistic dashes of philosophy with me in my day-to-day with even more hope for living. Not gonna lie, ever since I started reading manga again this year it's really helped me with some troubling times. Thank you Takehiko Inoue for this masterpiece. I know people have been waiting years for Vagabond but as far as mental health goes, do what's right for you sensei. 10/10
