In the battle that is about to begin, you can only afford to win

Such an amazing chapter, I'm speechless!!!

I was sad to see Natsumi in this state yet I was happy that she is this determined to get better.

Even before he met the doctor, I also felt that Nomiya was contemplating whether he could feel better now that Natsumi's condition has improved. So I was surprised that the doctor was so direct when he understood that Nomiya had only come to make things easier for himself.

Although Nomiya's character was sympathethic before, this chapter made him so incredibly relatable to me. That scene where he started crying, confessing that he'd like to be a better person really struck a chord with me.

That's the moment when he seemed the most human and also made me feel like cheering for him and his goal of finding his path stronger than ever before.

Another very realistic and therefore somewhat heart wrenching moment was Takahashi's outcry near the end; screaming how much he wants to return to his original self. The frustration he felt at that moment was conveyed perfectly.

I feel like Dr. Sawamura might be able to help him, especially since Takahashi said that he's not good with that type of person.

Nomiya got mistaken as a creep as he wallowed in guilt after he watch Nacchan struggle so much to simply take off her shoes and get herself on the bed on her own. The guy's genuinely remorseful but he didn't know what he can do for her and I really felt bad for him too. His shirt says it all... No Excuses.

He was so serious about rehab that he didn't expect the incline bed to rise up that high so quickly. He haven't stood up ever since the accident and standing upright for him is pretty much like floating since his lower half's dead.

Nobu needs to be optimistic though it's understandable that he's not in the right frame of mind.
