Also there was short reappearance of Dr. T explaining the rules!

But to be honest, I was sad to see him reappear this way; he looked much more serious, sad and somewhat rough with his beard

Honestly wasn't expecting the JoJo reference. Hopefully part 9 comes out soon.

The artwork is awesome and captures Hisanobu's loneliness perfectly.

This chapter is relatable and makes you think about the significance of social interaction.

Things only got worse for the three of them... Nomiya got fired from his job because he fought with one of the assholes who stole everything he had, Kiyo's really bad against that many players at once and he's definitely not used to playing as a team since he only played short 2v2 matches at most ever since he quit the Tigers, and Nobu realized that he had no true friends after all.

Nobu got it worst among the three of them since not a single one of his friends and even his girlfriend had turned up to be there for him and the only visitor he had aside from his mother was Ichikawa who came to tell him that she actually only loved him for his basketball skills and got over him once she found out he's a cripple now. The kid beside him got free manga and a lot of friends (they even got Part 9 Jojo for him!) while he gets nothing so that's a big insult to injury right there.

Hisanobu realised he got no "real" friends.

Kiyoharu is confused after he lost to Nagano

Nobu has been abandoned by his "friends". Anyway Togawa doesn't seem to be welcomed by his team members.

Amazing! Again with the karmic retribution!

The older punks who stole Nomiya's money reappeared, he got his revenge but was fired in return. (losing another means of financial income)

He meets his ex-friend, who after betraying Nomiya for the arrogant team, was also abandoned by said team & had realized that they didn't view him as one of their own.

There's the cruel irony with the female student who harboured feelings for Takahashi: She's the only one to visit him in the hospital and yet she is only there to reveal that her attraction to him was gone after he became paralyzed.

Kiyoharu had abandoned the tigers (since they couldn't match up to his abilities & determination), now he returned only to realize how powerless he really is & has been asked to leave by the team since he's not good enough.

This chapter there were many parallels between the three mains who all realized how hopeless their situation is, how isolated they are from everyone else and how painful it feels to be left behind.

Nomiya gets further away from the girl he was in an accident with, while Kiyoharu feels even stronger left behind Nagano. Even Takahashi feels as though he's slowly drifting away from everyone's mind and "normalcy"

I just love the parallels between the main 3 and that theme of retribution repeated each chapter, the plot is also progressing at a good rate & I can never tell what's going to happen next (in a good way)

Damn thats got to hit Hisanobu hard considering his life was so grand up untiil this point. He just assumed he had a lot of friends but in reality it seems they were mostly just superficial people who liked him because of his popularity in being a basketball star at the school. Being the douchebag athlete who always gets his way was such a huge part of his identity , its going to be incredibly difficult for him to adjust to being treated like a nobody by most people.

He might actually become one of the most interesting characters in the manga .. his life will change so dramatically it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
