Blade of the Immortal Chapter 202 Discussion

                        A fitting death for Habaki-- how 'blinded' and caught up he was in all this Itto-ryu 'hunting' business, that he had lost sight of what truly mattered long before even losing his eyes/sight in actual battle. As much as he was unable to see the (possible) consequences of his actions (bringing nothing but death to his family), he just as well had failed see his impending death.



Serves him right, I guess. He just didn't know when to quit. He was so obsessed about 'pride', it's simply ironic how he died without any shred of it, whatsoever.

Anotsu stance reminded me of Saito (Rurouni Kenshin) Gatotsu stance.

Habaki stance reminded me of Kenshin Battojutsu Stance.

I love Anotsu, so I was so nerve-racked reading this chapter, and so relieved when I got through it. Very glad Anotsu's alive though, at the same time, it doesn't look like he's very thrilled about it. I don't know what he's going to do without Makie. =/ I don't think he can convince Manji to kill him, but I guess there's still time for something else to happen to him.
