Did the author feel obligated to make every single one of his characters recurrent ? Cause it sure looks like it and it's starting to really annoy me. Can't even begin to list the characters that should be left out of the loop at this point... If their character arc gets proper closure, you should leave them be, otherwise it just feels redundant. On the top of my head you have Shira, Renzo, the mad doctor (forgot his name), Hyakurin, Giichi, Makie... Now they all get dragged down for a fuckfest of an ending. This manga really went down halfway through and it's quite sad considering the quality it had before.
