Blade of the Immortal Chapter 14 Discussion

Liked the fact that Kagehisa didn't kill Rin because he thinks she is getting like one of them, and not because he want to see her getting stronger to encounter and defeater her later. Something unusual like this is always welcome.

You god damn retard, I hate this guy, just what's his problem? He says he isn't doing this for revenge but what the hell, if he wants to start his own school or whatever then there's no one stopping him from doing so and then other people from joining him, instead he just goes around asking forcing everyone to join in and if they don't feel like it because they don't like his style he kills them, good job, guy, totally won me over. You can tell me all about how people are only after the money and they have ridiculous ideas like "oh, I lost a fight, brb kill myself" but shit, killing them left and right isn't the answer and proceed to rape their wives and putting their heads on your god damn shoulders... just no, already lost pretty much all the reason they had with that but after this chapter I just can't take Kagehisa's ideas seriously.



Man, between a school of samurais obsessed with honor and shit and a school of mass murderers and rapists, I'm sure having a hard time picking a side, yep.



The guy might have the right ideas but he has no fucking clue about to go and apply them, he's the type of person who's better off death because he has a ton of power but doesn't use it right, he's being a tyrant without even realizing it.

With the mention on Miyamoto Musashi, this is starting to feel like a spiritual successor to Vagabond (even though this manga was published first).

He definitely convinced me.
