Yeah wow so this volume was very much about Makie and Kagehisa. Really interesting character, felt like there is a lot of depth to this relationship. I figured Kagehisa would get focus at some point but I wasn't really expecting it so early and I think it was for the best. Because I am definitely more into the series now than I was coming into this volume. Her seemingly leaving him is interesting too. Also wasn't expecting Maki to lose so thouroughly. I'm sure most like me thought she'd pay for letting him recover his leg but he never touched her once. Wild.
