Akira Chapter 113 Discussion

Episode 113: Pages 266-277 of volume 6 of the Kodansha publication.



Kinda short for a chapter, but a lot sure happened. Kaneda brought that cyro-cell down onto Miyako's temple pretty damn fast. Sooner or later, it gets to looking like every single person who's ever been in Miyako's care is gonna die some way or another.

Holy! In the DarkHorse publication: This chapter showed us Kay firing another SOL that was still in orbit and the laser bending with the help of Miyako who finally died. She was already on the verge of dead. Which resulted in Tetsuo power turning to some sentient ball which Akira and other kids (I assume the dead kids also came to help consider we were shown their spirits) engulfed with their own power ball. The whole part was illustrated very well.



Then, we got to saw memories of Tetsuo which showed his parent neglecting and all other memories as well because he is passing away here as Kaneda point out. It was all so well illustrated.



I also feel bad for the children all who died and of course all the one alive. I hope their suffering ends.
