Akira Chapter 91 Discussion

More setup, but I guess the Lieutenant finally took out that annoying psychic scout.



Chapter ends with Kaori resting in Tetsuo's arms. Looks like he's starting to grow those tumors that we all recognize from the movie.

[I am reading the DarkHorse issue of Akira. Here 120 chapters are converted into 38 parts. And the sequence of event is mixed up to match the new format. So, I know how many chapters I have read but do not know what part belong to which chapter.]



George and Ryu survive the ordeal and the world finally make move on Akira. The mutation is finally here and it's even more glorious than the movie version. To think the power have it's own conscious like how we are made up of multiple cellular organism; the power also want to have a physical body. It seek to consume the entire US naval vessel.



We get to see the laser cannon again. Boy is it going to be blast!
