Akira Chapter 84 Discussion

Episode 84: Pages 200-215 of volume 5 of the Kodansha publication.



You know, that festival for Akira looks a lot like something North Korea would do. I know this came out in the 80s, but I guess some things never change.



Also page 212 gave me a chuckle, because it looked as if the whole aircraft carrier just suddenly vanished out of nowhere based on how the panels were drawn. Pretty sure that's not what happened, but if it did that would've been hilarious.
