Probably this teacher will try to interfere with Takashi and his group's plans

Seems like i've been waiting for this chapter for agggges and although there was no action it was ok.



Saya x Hirano needs more development after the shopping centre arc, looking as if that will be happening soon. I can't stand Rei, Saeko for teh wins for the wins in favourite girl in the series.



Good to see Shidou-Sensei and his cult clubback and  looking as friendly as usual. Haters gonna hate but he's a great character.

BTW - there is a good example that contradicts your theory - Discworld by Terry Pratchett is a series that has almost 40 volumes already and is as good now as it was at the beginning (actually even better since each volume expanded the universe and along with bringing new characters polished already existing ones to perfection). All that author needs is inspiration..



(GTo lasted 201 chapters without it, Black Lagoon and Nononono are around 80 by now and nothing suggest that they will end anytime soon), the only thing that is needed is good plot.

I can't imagine Saya's parents or Rei's father and Takashi's mother dead.Yes,it was a dramatic episode with Saya's parents in chapter 16 if i'm not mistaken,when the team left Saya's mansion ,but...If her parents will appear in volume 8-9 again...That means this theory

I've got a feeling,that he already made a decision.But well,as i said before we shall see.My vote goes for 10 volumes at tnis moment.And if volume 11 will be released i'll admit,that i was wrong about HOTD :-)

1. The are evacuated but  the place they moved to turns out to be just as infested as the one they are in now.

2. They don't even make it to another land, the disease somehow makes it to the ships and they have to fight there (lots of dark narrow corridors, just a perfect place for zombies ;) in order to somehow escape back to land (any land)

3. They try to run to another, less infected place (like England for example) but local population denies them entry and fight break out (another perfect situation for zombies to join the party)





Well as I can see,you 've got a lot of interesting ideas ;-) But i guess we've got some problems here:



1)There are only 3 volumes of manga left (i mean,c'mon-we don't expect 20 volumes of hotd ,right? maximum 10).And Takashi have't even  found his mother and Rei her father at this moment.Evil teacher is still alive and we don't even know what mangaka have decided about him.Our team have't met Rika,the sniper woman,yet and so on...



2)I am afraid  it would still look like déjà vu .Because we already saw a small and big local fightings with zombies and we will get one epic battle in the end just before the escape.Do we really need more? I'm not sure if the quality of the story will be the same. Like Dieter Rams(a German industrial designer) said :"Less, but better". Your ideas are great for...computer FPS game:different maps(Japan,England,Italy,ships, secret military base and so on) different types of weapons and different types of enemies (reminds me of L4D2 game) .Your ideas are great also for an interesting book.But it's a manga afterall...It's a story about high school kids trying to save their parents and escape. That's it.I don't expect another "Expendables" or "Mission impossible" type of story from this manga.



3) Maybe  mangaka will be lazy enough or...he will have no time for these ideas. Because HOTD manga is bi-monthly now and mangaka is working on 3 titles of manga at the same time,so...



But well, maybe i'm wrong and you are right. We shall see...But we should wait for 2 months just for 1 chapter(30 pages)  and it's ... killing my interest in this manga  :-(
