InuYasha Chapter 4 Discussion

So.. I'm kinda waiting for Kagome to have any type of emotional response to all this. She has almost been killed 3 times, and just saw two people LITERALLY BE DECAPITATED right in front of her and she's fine. For a story that has already insinuated a goon would rape a 15 year old girl, I thought trauma would play a part in this story as well. But no, Kagome is fina and unfazed by everything. Damn, she's an airhead.
