InuYasha Chapter 78 Discussion

                        Well women sure can be jealous, but I think Kikyo is the one that was hurt the most..

I have to agree on that. She thought Inuyasha was willing to go to hell with her, but since he also had feelings for someone else this happens. Ugh. This is so conflicting. Loving the same soul which manifest to two different people.

I think not everyone who read this chapter will be able to understand the magnitude it contains. First things first, Kikyou seems to be regaining some sanity and understanding the situation better. She was a victim of a scheme by Onigumo, but she feels betrayed because she died in love with InuYasha, and when she returned, she found someone who looked like her and, on top of that, had InuYasha's love. What she will do next, I have no idea!



Next, we have Kagome completely devastated, feeling deceived by the rogue InuYasha, ignoring him completely but not letting him know that she is angry. Meanwhile, InuYasha, who doesn't understand what he did wrong for Kagome to feel this way, is completely lost.



Every young person who has been in love has been through this! Since Kagome has never dated, everything she is going through is for the first time. She doesn't know how to deal with it; for her, nothing else matters, and all she wants is to get rid of what she's feeling. She lacks the maturity to understand that before she existed, InuYasha had a history with Kikyou. InuYasha is suffering too, but he is concerned about Kagome, though she doesn't realize it. I hope they understand each other; the way they complement each other is one of the best things in the manga.
