This chapter fell well below my expectations. I'm not a fan of this "rivalry" between Kagome and the evil Kikyou, but Kagome's reactions are quite funny. InuYasha is not to blame for anything; she knows that and still takes out all her anger on him. What does the evil Kikyou want with Kaede?
She did, I believe the reason why she try to drag him to hell was not because of vengeance, but because of love and loneliness. This is my interpretation based on that scene where she was embracing Inuyasha
