The misunderstanding between Nagi and Hayate comes back to bite him the butt thanks to Hayate's mom who was pretending to be Nagi''s mom

Let us all pray in silence for the pairing that was meant to be but never was

I already expect that the "exploding with negative emotion" will be Nagi finding out the misunderstanding from Hayate but I didn't really expect that Hayate's parents will be the cause.

So now that we know how Hayate's mother looks and that she is supposed to be just as rotten as the father, what about the movie? Is it completely non-cannon now?Isn't it his Grandma not his mother that are in the movie?

I won't be surprised if it's discovered that they have connections with other characters and so are aware of all details about Hayate's life.
