Noticing her feelings to turn her down would only be worse for Hina.

Remember, one of the clauses for Nagi to maintain her inheritance is that Hayate must be her butler.

Poor Hina. I'm more of an A-tan shipper but I definitely don't mind Hina either as long as not Nagi all is good. Notice her Hayate. U won! U can pay ur debt and just be free dude. Even if u stay as her butler u can't make anymore excuses not to be with other girls

It started out with me laughing at their battle of who's the most unfortunate, then had me frown with Hina's last draw. I'm by no means a Hina fan, but man...



But anyway, I agree that it was an underwhelming end

I think he kinda did, even though he isn't aware of it yet. Just think of the times he nonchalantly enters the Hakuo tower, or think of how they interact in general. There is definitely something, Hayate is just too caught up in his own 'no money = no stable relationship' thoughts to realize it.



Interesting chapter anyway. For me the last page is pretty clear: Hayate not noticing her feelings is good luck in the author's opinion. The reason why she looks moody is because, even considering the above, she can't pay off his debt.

That's a heavy Hina flag :3

The battle is hilarious indeed. I doubt Hayate gonna have the money though, you know this is Hayate we're talking about lol..

It gets seriously hilarious when Izumi mentioned her brother.
