Hayate no Gotoku! Chapter 437 Discussion

Calling it. Someone's gonna fall in love with Hayate's bro.

Oh boy! The swimsuit chapter is coming! Can't wait to see A-tan back to normal too :D

The unexpected turn has me on the edge of my seat.

This chapter was like a giant nuclear plot bomb! *_* So many things happened you wonder why Ruka's arc was so drawn out.



1. Hayate finally connected the dots about King's Jewel, his past meeting with Santa and then with his brother.



2. We FINALLY learned why A-tan was reduced to her chibi form (King's Jewel's curse) and why she had to stay with Hayate at the mansion (opposing great power that could restore her strength, maybe it was Sanzenin vs Tennousu all along?). And then the mention of the "Himegami's land". Sooo much info to take in. :O



3.After all this we get the foreshadowing of settling things once and for all with Ayumu and Hina. Looking at the previous chapters this might be just another tease from Hata-sensei, but considering the overall weight of this chapter that might just be it. But judging from Hina's reaction nothing happened while she was with Hayate and Kurosu searching for Ruka's parents. Which makes you wonder even more why Hata-sensei completely omitted that part and why he made Hinagiku go along in the first place.



4. Last but not least, we finally got to see Ikusa's face. :)



Phew. It is a little shame though that Hata-sensei decided to drop a plot bomb within one chapter rather than taking things a little bit more slowly but with more detail.

Ahh finally the plot is back! I had goosebumps while reading the last two chapters and I am hyped to finally see what comes next. Just hope the plot won't be put on hold for too long since it is (almost) inevitable Hata will make some filler chapters soon.

While I'm glad that the story is finally going somewhere I agree with Tennouji here, the plot's gonna be put off for 1/2 weeks so we can see the girls (who we've seen probably a million times by now) in bikinis again.



Honestly though, I'm just happy himegami might appear in the manga again after his one (removed) cameo. Looks like they're tying into the life savers manga more too. (that I could never find in english to read)

It'd be kinda cool if the hayate and ika-musume charas had a cross-over chapter at the beach, as the beach house reminded me of that show
