But really 582nd time lol XD how many friggin time did he and A-tan kiss?! And it seems he doesn't remember Izumi kissing him. Well off he doesn't XD



I agree with Infinite on the wish thing, she'll probably use it now.

And there was I reading the title and thinking "about time Hayate gets laid". lol



It's fun to see that the first thing Hayate thinks about is Athena acting all tsun over that kiss. Now Ruka makes quite a question: Obviously Hayate holds Nagi in the highest esteem, but is it out of duty? Out of that question we'll either finally discard Nagi from the list, or Hayate realizes he's secretly a lolicon.

Oh I had had completely forgotten about that, I really should read Hayate no Gotoku from beginning again. But yh I agree with your idea that she might use the wish now.

But unlike other harem manga, there's a damn good reason for Hayate not to get involved with the girls. His personality and experiences. Hayate has a strong sense of justice and responsibility, so he just can't imagine leaving Nagi after what she did for him. Also remember his childhood.



Now, I'm probably giving it too much thought for a comedy manga, but I actually believe Hayate is unable to get close to one person because he's desperate for everybody to like him. He was betrayed by his parents countless times, his brother was never there and even A-tan freaked out and chased him out of the castle. Hayate never learned how to receive people's affection, he can only give and give and give desperately, until... Well this story could be an epic psychological drama/tragedy piece. Not that I don't love the comedy. Just saying.



And by the way, the chapter was great fun.

I think that will test Hayate and Nagi's chemistry. Even Ruka's going to use that wish thing.
