Shinji probably won't strangle anyone this time. What's SEELE thinking though in this version? That a relatively normal boy is going to choose Instrumentality?

I mean, in the anime, it made sense that Shinji would make the wish that "everyone should die" considering how traumatized and nihilistic he was at this point.

ZOMG! Giant Naked Rei time! Seriously though, great chapter. Things are moving along quickly now. The Black Moon was revealed, GNR appeared, and Gendo was shot by Ritsuko. I'm happy with the manga additions for chapter. It's been pretty interesting to see this alternate take on the series.

Well well isn't that interesting. I can't imagine that being what Gendo said to Ritsuko in the anime though.

The drugs have finally kicked in boys.

The ordering of the chapters is getting more complicated than Eva has ever been....

Lots of development in this chapter. The giant Rei/Yui figure, the commence of the Third Impact, Gendo getting a taste of his own medicine (oh how I loved that). Rei's rejection of Gendo was pretty well done.

Got to say, reading these chapters while listening to Mozart's Requiem has been quite an experience.
