We finally see the real Yui Ikari, and Shinji should probably take her advice for granted. Rei had a part to bring Shinji back, possibly hinting at the link between her and unit 01.

More obvious hints at the true nature of the Evas. If the anime had been this direct about it, maybe less people would be confused by it. Interesting to see Rei showing emotions here.

An impactful chapter to say the least, we finally see the real Yui Ikari and she says a favorite line of mine about no matter where he is, as long as Shinji is alive he can be happy. Just like in the anime Misato screams at Eva 01 "Give him back!". Here, though, it seems Rei is responsible for his return. The discourse between her and 01 really seems to hint at her and 01's true nature.

Yeah, I thought that was interesting to. I've always thought they are one and the same. Actually, I still think they are it's just the Eva represents her not wanting to let him go.

They should have colored the card at the end with red, would have made it cooler. Anyways, I am happy Shinji is still alive right now.
